Multiplication can be done in many different forms.

All three ways of solving the
problem achieve the right answer and different students would connect to each
different method.
Reflection
· Does it really matter
how the student got the answer? If the answer is correct? When dealing with
curriculum it does but I think this idea should be challenged because once the
student is out in the work force they are going to use any technique that they
remember to achieve the right answer.

· Shouldn’t school
follow this ideology?
· Multiplication using
blocks can easily be achieved also. 26 would take (2 Ten blocks, and 6 One
blocks) * 16 would take ( 1 Ten block, and 6 One blocks)
