10. Geo Blocks with Fractions
Reflection
· Geo blocks are a great way to get
students to learn math which I’ve stated earlier in the blogs, but once again
in fractions it becomes clear how these blocks can help students connect to the
question.
· In the third picture a student can
represent 1/3, 2/3 or 3/3 (a whole) easily without having to struggle and lose
focus.
Reflection of Reflection
· The problem once they use the Geo
Blocks, are they going to be able to stop using them and be able to do the math
using just signs and symbols? Only practicum and time will tell.
